Order Insurance
For a flat fee of $9.95 for orders under $199 and $19.95 for orders totaling $200 or more, have peace of mind with Alaskan Seafood insurance.
Our optional order insurance covers the full value of the shipment if the package encounters all of the following:
1. Weather delays anytime during transit.
2. The package arrives delayed by 24 hours or more.
3. The contents of the package are spoiled.
We ship all of our perishable shipments using Fedex Overnight Service. We package all of our shipments with additional ice to withstand 2 days of transit time. However, sometimes there are unforeseen weather related events or "acts of God" which can cause delays in shipping, which Fedex doesnt cover.
In the unlikely event that your package is damaged and you have selected the weather insurance, your order will be replaced.
Additional Dry Ice
We package all of your shipments with enough cooling agent so the product arives cool to the touch. If you are experiencing warm temperatures in your area or you want to try to help ensure the package arrives frozen, we suggest adding dry ice.
