Cedar Planks are a great tool to enhance the flavor of salmon. The key to using cedar planks is soak them in water for at least 1 hour before using them to cook with. When cooking salmon on a cedar plank on the BBQ, you want to preheat your BBQ to as hot as you can get it. The salmon should take about 10 -12 minutes to cook on the BBQ; the goal is for the cedar plank to catch on fire so that the fish gets the flavor of the cedar wood into the meat. Included in this package is 2 cedar planks and a 6 oz bottle of Tim's Wild Salmon Rub. If shipped individually, cedar planks will ship USPS.
