Our Halibut Steak is cut from the smallest fish in the catch. Approximately 6 to 12 ounces, a loin halibut steak has excellent flavor. Alaskan Halibut is a premier whitefish low in sodium, heart-healthy, and light in flavor. Considered the steak of Alaskan Seafood, Wild Halibut Fillets are naturally lean with a firm white meat. A great choice for the bbq, cooking a halibut steak with the bone-in can help insulate the meat from overcooking and deliver a great flavor profile. Although Halibut can grow to be the largest flatfish in the ocean, we hand select the smallest and most tender Alaskan Halibut for our Steaks. Each steak is individually vacuum packaged in 6 to 12 ounce portions. Similar to beef, a bone-in Halibut Steak can deliver a lot of flavor on the bbq.
